Seafood Recipes - Beer Batter Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup beer
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound large shrimp; cleaned peeled and devined

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
    2. Spray a wire rack no stick spray and place on the cookie sheet.
    3. In a medium bowl, combine the first four ingredients. Beat until smooth.
    4. In a separate bowl, stir together dry bread crumbs, pecans, pepper,and salt.
    5. Dip shrimp in bread crumb mixture, then into the beer batter and then into bread crumb mixture again.
    6. Bake for 12 minutes until coating is golden. Serves 4.
