Witches Broomsticks Recipe
Ingredients
- 2-1/3 cups biscuit/baking mix; prepared
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Mix milk, biscuit mix and Italian seasoning in a large bowl.
- Place on a lightly floured surface and knead about nine or ten times. Split this into thirty portions and set fifteen aside for now.
- Roll the first fifteen portions into 7-in. ropes for broom handles then fold in half and twist. Place on un-greased cookie sheets.
- Take the fifteen remaining pieces and shape them into circles approximately two and a half inches in diameter.
- Cut the circles wit a scissors to form a bundle of broom twigs.
- Put these below each broom handle and pinch edges to seal.
- Brush on butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Bake for ten to twelve minutes or until lightly browned. Serves: 15.
