Halloween Recipes for Your Fun Halloween Party Popcorn Jack-o-Lanterns Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 quarts popped popcorn
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1 package (10-1/2 ounces) miniature marshmallows
- 1 package (3 ounces) orange gelatin
- 12 green Dots candies
- 1 to 2 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
- Green Fruit by the Foot fruit roll
- Black shoestring licorice
Instructions:
- Melt butter and miniature marshmallows in microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stir in gelatin until completely dissolved.
- In a large bowl, pour in popcorn then add the melted butter, marshmallows and gelatin and stir or toss to coat the popcorn.
- Then shape the mixture into twelve three inch balls with your hands slightly buttered.
- Flatten one side of the ball lightly.
- Attach the stem by inserting green Dots candy at the top of the pumpkin and secure them with marshmallow fluff.
- You may attach fruit roll or licorice with marshmallow fluff to decorate the faces of the pumpkins. Serves: 12.
