Halloween Recipes for Your Fun Halloween Party Mousse Filled Witches Hats Recipe
Ingredients
- 1-3/4 cups heavy whipping cream; divided
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate; chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon shortening
- 1 package chocolate ice cream sugar cones
- Halloween sprinkles
- 12 thin chocolate wafers
Instructions:
- To make mousse, bring 1/2 cup cream to a boil in a small saucepan remove from the heat.
- Add chocolate chips and smooth by stirring.
- Cool mousse mixture by placing in a bowl and stirring frequently.
- Beat the remaining 1-1/4 cup of whipping cream in a bowl until it becomes stiff.
- Mix the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Cover bowl and refrigerate.
- Melt semisweet chocolate and shortening and stir until smooth.
- Dip one third of the ice-cream cone tips in the melted chocolate and roll in the sprinkles.
- Refrigerate cones until the chocolate is set.
- Spoon mousse into the cones and top with a chocolate wafer and serve. Serves: 12.
