Halloween Recipes for Your Fun Halloween Party
Mousse Filled Witches Hats Recipe



Ingredients

  • 1-3/4 cups heavy whipping cream; divided
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate; chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon shortening
  • 1 package chocolate ice cream sugar cones
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • 12 thin chocolate wafers

Instructions:

  1. To make mousse, bring 1/2 cup cream to a boil in a small saucepan remove from the heat.
  2. Add chocolate chips and smooth by stirring.
  3. Cool mousse mixture by placing in a bowl and stirring frequently.
  4. Beat the remaining 1-1/4 cup of whipping cream in a bowl until it becomes stiff.
  5. Mix the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Cover bowl and refrigerate.
  7. Melt semisweet chocolate and shortening and stir until smooth.
  8. Dip one third of the ice-cream cone tips in the melted chocolate and roll in the sprinkles.
  9. Refrigerate cones until the chocolate is set.
  10. Spoon mousse into the cones and top with a chocolate wafer and serve. Serves: 12.
