Halloween Recipes for Your Fun Halloween Party Goblin Eyeballs Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 eggs; hardboiled and cooled
- Red food coloring
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 large stuffed olives, halved widthwise
Instructions:
- Gently crack eggs but do not peel. Mix food coloring with a large bowl of hot water then add eggs. Make sure the eggs are completely covered with the water. Leave the eggs in the water for thirty minutes. Remove the eggs from the water and peel. The eggs should have veins like an eye.
- Cut eggs in half and remove yolks and place in a large bowl. Smash up yolks with a fork and stir in the mayonnaise, salt and pepper, and mustard.
- Place egg whites on serving tray and stuff with yolk mixture. Add an olive half to the center of each egg to make the eyeball. Chill in refrigerator until serving. Serves: 24.
