Apricot Bread (layered)

Ingredients:

• 2 1/2 cup bisquick
•1/2 cup sugar
•1 tsp. baking powder
•1/4 tsp. salt
•1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
•1/2 cup nuts

Instructions:
Layer in 1-quart wide-mouth(makes it easier to pack down) canning jar in order listed above. After each layer pack the layer down.

For the Tag:

Apricot Bread
•1 1/4 cup milk
•1 tsp. vanilla
•2 egg slightly beaten
•1/2 cup softened butter or margarine

Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees. In a large bowl, mix the in=gredients of the jar together. Stir in milk, vanilla, eggs, and butter or margarine. Mix until completely blended. Spoon the batter into a large loaf pan that is well greased with waxed paper in the bottom. Bake for 1 hr or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack before removing.
