Cookie Recipes Index Breakfast Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 10 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups cornflakes
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a large bowl. Add in egg and beat well.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking soda and add gradually to the other bowl. Add bacon, cornflakes and raisins and stir well.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls two inches apart onto un-greased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Let cool on wire racks after cooling for two minutes on cookie sheets. Store in the refrigerator. Serves: 12.
