Cookie Recipes Index Butterfinger Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1-1/4 cups chunky peanut butter
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 Butterfinger candy bars (2.1 ounces each), chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease cookie sheets.
- Cream butter and sugars in a large bowl and beat in egg whites. Add vanilla and peanut butter and stir well.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt together and add gradually to the other bowl. Add candy bars and stir thoroughly.
- Roll dough into 1-1/2-in. balls and place 2 in. apart on cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and let cool on wire racks. Serves: 48.
