Crock Pot RecipesAsparagus Soup
Ingredients:
2 pounds fresh asparagus; cleaned and ends cut off, cut into 1-inch pieces
5 cups chicken broth
4 scallions; chopped
2 russet potatoes; peeled and cubed
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
sour cream
Instructions:
- Place the first four of the ingredients in the crock pot. Stir.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
- Puree in batches, heat in crock pot and add spices.
- Serve with sour cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
