Crockpot Baked Lamb Shanks Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 Lamb shanks; cracked
  • Garlic cloves
  • 3 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 3 Onions; sliced
  • 4 small Carrots; cut in thin strips
  • 4 Celery stalks; 2" strips
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/2 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 can Tomato paste; 8 oz.

    Instructions:

    1. Rub lamb shanks with garlic and season with salt and pepper.
    2. Layer vegetables in bottom of the crock pot; add meat and all other ingredients.
    3. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, high 4-5 hours.


    Yield: 6 servings.
