Ingredients:
3 to 3.5 lbs beef short ribs
1 tablespoon dijon-style mustard
1 garlic clove; crushed
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup bottled hickory smoked barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions:
- Place the ribs in the crock pot.
- In a bowl combine the next six ingredients and pour over the ribs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- The last hour thicken if needed with a mixture of corn starch and water.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
