Onion Soup
Ingredients:
3 pounds peeled, sliced onions
1 stick (4 oz) butter
2 cans beef consomme
1 can water
Grated Mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
In a sauce pan, saute onions until clear. In the crock pot, combine butter, consomme, and water. Mix well, then add onions. Cook on low for 6 hours. When serving, place a handfull of cheese on top of each bowl and wait until melted.
