Crockpot RecipesCrock Pot Saucy Green Peas and Onions Recipe
Ingredients:
16 ounces frozen green peas; thawed
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning or similar seasoned salt
1 teaspoon flour
1/2 cup light cream
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Combine peas in crockpot with butter, onion, and seasoning.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.
- Sprinkle flour on top of the mixture. Stir in gently.
- Add cream and cheese and stir.
- Cook another 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sauce will thicken.
