CopyCat Olive Garden's Recipes
Olive Garden's Seafood Pasta Chowder Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces small shells or bowties; cooked and drained
  • 3 ounces Crab meat
  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 pound Sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 1oz each packages Newburg sauce mix
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup Sliced green onions

    Instructions:

  • In 3-quart non aluminum saucepan, melt butter and saute mushrooms fopr 3 minutes.
  • Add Newburg sauce mix, stir well.
  • Stir in milk, water and wine.
  • Bring to a boil while whisking.
  • Reduce heat; simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, stir often.
  • Stir in green onions, pasta and crab.
  • Heat through. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

    Makes: 6 servings.
