Barbecue Recipes Grilled Salmon Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Salmon fillets
1/2 cup Jack Daniels whiskey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
p>Instructions:
- Preheat grill.
- In a small saucepan, mix Jack Daniels, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey and ginger. Bring to boil, then lower heat to medium.Stir mixture until it is caramelized and thick.
- Salt and pepper the salmon fillets to your taste. With the aluminum foil make a platter for the salmon to be grilled upon. Fold all four edges of the foil to create a 1/2" lip around the platter.
- Place the fillets skin side down on the foil and grill over low heat and brush sauce onto the salmon. Grill for about 12-15 minutes, flipping after 8 minutes and basting the salmon frequently.
