Barbecue Recipes Barbecued Onion Rings Recipe
Ingredients:
12 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 tbsp. olive oil
zest from 1 lime
Juice from one lime
1/4 tsp. chipotle powder
6 strips thin bacon, halved
Skewers
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine lime zest, lime juice, olive oil, and chipotle powder. Mix. Dip the shrimp in the mixture and be sure each piece is well coated.
- Microwave bacon pieces on high for 1 1/2 minutes or until the fat starts to melt.
- Preheat grill to high direct heat.
- Wrap each piece of shrimp in piece of the bacon. Place the shrimp onto the skewers for grilling. Brush remaining lime chipotle mixture on each piece.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crisp and the shrimp is pink.
