Barbecued Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 20 chicken wings, wing tips removed
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
  • 4 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. chili powder

    Instructions:

    1. In a large bowl, combine ketchup, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, dijon mustard, paprika and chili powder. Stir well.
    2. Clean the wings with cold water and dry.
    3. Put the wings in large seal able plastic bags and pour the marinade into the bags and seal tight. Shake the bags to ensure that the marinade is evenly distributed among the wings. Allow to marinade in the refrigerator for at least six hours.
    4. Remove the wings from the refrigerator and brush the wings with olive oil.
    5. Sear the wings over direct, medium heat for 4-6 minutes or until well marked. Then grill over indirect medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until meat is cooked through and no longer pink .
