Appetizer Recipes Mushroom Pate Recipe
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup fresh button mushrooms; finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons dry sherry
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
Instructions:
In a skillet, saute mushrooms and onions in butter.
Cook for 15 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese and parsley, then add mushroom mixture.
Blend in blender for pate consistency.
Serve with breads, bagel chips or crackers.
Makes 2 cups.
