South of the Border Fondue Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 10 oz can green chile enchilada sauce
  • 3 cups 12 oz shredded Muenster cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

    Instructions:

  • In a sauce pan, heat enchilada sauce.
  • Stir in cheese a little at a time until it melts and add chili powder.
  • Combine cornstarch and water in a bowl, then add to sauce.
  • Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  • Pour into fondue pot.
  • Serve with corn chips, ham or shrimp, or breads. Yield: 6 servings.
