Bacon Cheddar Fondue Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 slices bacon; fried, drained and crumbled
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 10-1/2 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 pounds sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • Parsley

Instructions:

  1. Saute onion and garlic together, do not brown.
  2. Add soup; slowly stir in milk; blend until smooth.
  3. Add a little cheese at a time, stirring until melted.
  4. Add bacon, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard and Tabasco sauce.
  6. Pour into fondue pot and keep warm.
  7. Garnish with bacon and parsley.
Yield: 5 cups.
