Appetizer Recipes Almond Mushroom Pate with Cream Cheese Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 1 sm onion; chopped
- 1 clove garlic; minced
- 1 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- 1 cup blanched whole almonds
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 dash white pepper
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, melt margarine. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Saute until tender but not browned.
- Add tarragon. Stir until it is softened.
- In a food processor, add contents of skillet and all of the ingredients.
- Process until mixture is smooth.
- Garnish with finely chopped almonds and serve on thick slices of crusty French bread.
