Appetizer Recipes Garlic and Basil Cheese Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp garlic; chopped
- 1 tbsp basil; dried and chopped
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 4 ounces Swiss cheese
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Melt butter on medium low heat. Cook garlic until light brown.
- With a fork or shisk stir cream cheese, Swiss cheese, milk and table cream into pan.
- Add in basil, Parmesan cheese and salt.
- Keep stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is thick and creamy.
Variations: This dip can be served with tortilla chips or crackers.
