Birthday Party Theme Ideas: Circus Party

  • A circus needs a clown,. Either hire one that can make balloon animals or rent a suit and learn how to make the animals yourself.
  • Face paint the guest as clowns and hand out red noses.
  • Rent a cotton candy machine and hand out bags of peanuts.
  • For a game play pin the nose on the clown.
  • Decorate the party room by placing colored sheets from the center of the cieling and drape them out along to the walls and down. This will create the atmosphere of being in a big top tent.
  • Bright colored balloons and lots of them.
  • Make sandwiches and cut them out with elephant cookie cutter.
  • Decorate circus shaped cookies with colorful frosting.
  • Use balloon shapes cut out of paper for wall decoations and as name tags.
  • Hire a juggler to teach about juggling - for older kids. Then give juggle balls to practice.
