Where is Fawkes?

Fawkes was Dumbledore's pet - and VERY loyal to him. It is uncertain whether or not a phoenix can only have one owner or if he can have more than one. If it is true that he can only have one, then Fawkes is probably gone for good as Dumbledore has died and is not coming back in any 'live' sense of the word.

Otherwise, you have to wonder how someone ends up with a Phoenix as a pet. Does the pet chose the wizard type of thing. If Fawkes chose Dumbledore, might he not come back and choose Harry?

Could Fawkes have gone to Godric's Hallow? How old is the phoenix? How many burning days has he had? I don't believe we have seen the last of Fawkes.

So many questions... not enough answers...

i don't think we have seen the last of Fawkes either. maybe he will be Professor Mogonagal's pet now. he could be passed down from headmaster/mistress to headmaster/mistress. you never know.

I'm not completely convinced Dumbledore is dead. I don't even think Snape is a villain - either Dumbledore sacrificed himself, or it is one big elaborate cover-up.

By the way, not trying to spam your blog, but if anyone wants to take my 2-minute Harry Potter survey, please do! http://is-nri.com/take/?i=117493&h=uYQSqW4I9VYyUZyzS0Xmwg

I suspect that Dumbledore conjured him, like most any wizard's magical pet. With Dumbledore, so vanished Fawkes. Either that, or Fawkes has settled down with a nice lady Phoenix.

I'm a Potter fan, and took it a little too far lately :-) I hope you might spend just a moment viewing 'Harry Potter, Bad Roommate', our short comedy sketch about Harry Potter moving into a house with three regular guys.

If you like harry potter you may like…

George R R Martin’s The Song of Ice and Fire series is science fiction and fantasy Excellent older teen and adult read. Book 1 Game of Thrones Book 2 Clash of Kings Book 3 Storm of Swords Book 4 Feast for Crows Book 5 Dance with Dragons (in the making) This will keep the serious reader in material for a few months http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=George%20R%20R%20Martin%27s%20The%20Song%20of%20Ice%20and%20Fire&tag=amazon.book.shop-20&index=books&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

The Pottersaurus: 1,500 Words Harry Potter Readers Need to Know Great way for Harry Potter fans to learn the meanings of many of the words in the Harry Potter Series. I recommend The Pottersaurus for Harry Potter fans of all ages: kids, teens, and adults. http://astore.amazon.com/amazon.book.shop-20/detail/1878673351/104-5213413-3999903

“Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them” and “Quidditch Through the Ages.” These two “textbooks” used by Harry Potter provide just the information young readers want on two important subjects. http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FHarry-Potter-Schoolbooks-Box-Set%2Fdp%2F043932162X%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dbooks%26qid%3D1205493542%26sr%3D1-1&tag=amazon.book.shop-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

The Charlie Bone series The Charlie Bone series is very much like the Harry Potter series. Charlie bone realized that he is magically endowed at the stroke of midnight when he turns 10 years old. He has to go the a school that has other endowed children. There’s a castle and 3 houses that they are sorted in, a headmaster, charlie with messy hair, a father that went missing and a nasty grandmother he lives with along with his mother. Charlie is a very detirmined boy who can’t help himself but to solve something at the end of the book. He is very much like Harry. http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=Charlie%2BBone&tag=amazon.book.shop-20&index=books&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

I really loved it all. Wish you love some of them too.
