Baby Shower Ideas FAQWhen and where should you hold a baby shower?The time and place of a baby shower is all depended on the type of baby shower you are holding. If it's a work shower, the lunch break is good. See if it is ok to extend the break with 'the boss'. Normally, this isn't a problem. Traditional showers are held at the hostess' home on the weekends as a brunch, lunchen, or afternoon dessert shower. Restuarants and halls can also be rented and are great if there are too many people for an at home get together. Couples showers can be done in the evenings, but if it is couples plus children, you may want to stick to the weekend afternoons.
