There are many decisions that need to be made before baby shower planning can even get started. First and foremost, who is in charge? Who is doing the planning? There needs to be a leader, one person who takes charge and delegates the different jobs.

If you are that person, or you have been 'elected' by everyone, that's great. If you aren't sure, you may want to check around and see what the other people in mommy's life are planning. They may have something already in the works - or they may be waiting for someone like you to come along and take the reins. Either way, you'll need to know. So, your first step is to call and/or speak to everyone.
