I love this card my little one came home with and I thought I would share as it is a great idea for teachers to send home to parents. It is very sentimental and the handprints make a great keepsake.

You'll need:

• Constuction paper, flesh colored, white, pink, red sheet is 12x17.5 inches
• Heart sticker
• Glue
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Stickers or other things to decorate the card

1. Have the child copy the inside message on the white construction paper. Put the heart sticker where the word 'heart' would be in the message. Message: "No on touches my heart like you."
2. Center the white construction paper on the red sheet.
3. Fold the red construction paper around the white so that the card opens in the center of the page.
4. Trace a large heart and the childs hands. Have the child cut them out with safe scissors. Cut the heart in half.
5. Glue one hand on each half of heart and then glue the heart on the front of the card.
6. Allow the child to decorate with more stickers.
