Kids Crafts Projects
Make a Splitter Splatter Tshirt

Kids love to make things they can wear over and over again, like tshirts. Adult supervision is suggested. You'll need:

  • T-shirt; prewashed
  • Non-toxic fabric paints; fun bright colors
  • Pie plates; one per color
  • Clothes line and pins
  • 2-inch paint brushes; one per color
Instructions:
  1. Hang the clothes line outside and clip the shirts to it. Be sure there is plenty of room for the paint to go flying and not hit something - like your house.
  2. Pour paint into the pie plates.
  3. Allow your child to throw the paint at the tshirt by loading the paint brush with some paint and flicking it at the shirt.
  4. Allow to dry on the clothes line, up to 6 hours.
  5. Wash acoording to the fabric paint package directions.
