Easy mouse project for your kids to make out of an egg carton. You'll need:

• Egg carton bottom; 1 cups attached
• Tempra paint; gray or leave natural if this is the color of your cartoon
• wiggle eyes
• 6 - 1-inch pieces of black pipe cleaner
• small pink pom-pom
• Two 1-1/2 inch cut ovals out of construction paper
• 1 four inch piece gray or pink pipe cleaner
• glue
• something to poke holes in the egg carton(pen, pencil, knitting needle)

1. Placing the cups of the egg carton upside down so that the humps are up, paint the egg carton gray if needed. Allow to dry.
2. Glue on wiggle eyes to the cup in a corner just above the bottom edge. Glue the pink pom-pom between the eyes on the corner one the edge of the bottom of the egg carton.
3. Poke three holes on either side of the nose and put in the whiskers(black pipe cleaners.
4. Poke a hole in the back for the pink pipe cleaner as the tail. Twist the pipe cleaner to look more natural before attaching to the egg carton.
5. Glue the ovals as ears on either side of the top of the egg carton.
