This elastic substance is fun to make and even more fun to play with. Small children should be supervised and this can get messy, so be careful and wear appropriate clothing for painting. You'll need:

• 8 oz bottle glue
• 8 oz water
• poster paint
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 1/2 tsp. borax powder
• 2 mixing bowls

1. Empty glue into a bowl. Fill glue bottle with water, stir and empty it into the bowl; stir.
2. Add poster paint, start with a few drops and then increase until desired color is made.
3. In a second bowl combine borax with water.
4. In the large bowl, combine the two mixtures. Mix and kneed until it becomes elasticy goop.
