Easy chick project for your kids to make out of an egg carton and pom-poms. You'll need:

• Egg carton; one cup
• tempra paint; pick one: orange, blue, green or white
• wiggle eyes
• 2 yellow pom-poms (other colors will make other birds)
• orange construction paper
• glue

1. Paint the egg carton cup your color choice. Allow to dry.
2. Glue in the pom-poms, one on top of the other.
3. Cut a small diamond out of the orange construction paper. Fold it in half to form a beak.
4. Glue the wiggle eyes and the beak onto the top pom-pom, forming a baby bird looking up at you.
