You'll need:

• Jar lid
• Piece of paper crumbled into a ball; white or natural color
• Found beach items: many different shells, sand the things
• Hot glue or tacky glue

1. Glue sand to the lip of the lid, allow to dry a bit.
2. Glue the ball of paper to the insde of the lid.
3. Glue items from the beach around the paper ball, overlapping some. Use your creativity.
4. Continue to glue the items until the entire paper ball is covered. Allow to dry fully.

Variation: Using metallic spray paint, spray the statue gold, silver or bronze.
