Easy ant project for your kids to make out of an egg carton. You'll need:

• Egg carton bottom; 3 cups attached
• Tempra paint; brown
• wiggle eyes
• black marker
• 8 - 2-inch pieces of black pipe cleaner
• glue
• something to poke holes in the egg carton(pen, pencil, knitting needle)

1. Placing the cups of the egg carton upside down so that the humps are up, paint the egg carton brown. Allow to dry.
2. Poke holes on either side of each cup so that you can use the pipe cleaners to make the legs. An adult should poke holes for younger children but allow them to place the pipe cleaners.
3. Glue on wiggle eyes to the first cup.
4. Poke two holes at the top of the first cup and make anteia for the caterpiller.
5. Draw a mouth with the black marker.
