Three Wrap Wire Ring

It's like wire wrapping a spring, very easy. Here is how to make a three wrap wire ring project that is adjustable.

You'll need these supplies:

  • 7-inches 16 gauge wire for a size 8 and a half ring

You'll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose or chain nose plyers
  • Anvil
  • Hammer
  • Ring mandrel
  • File

1.) Be sure that both ends of your wire are cut with flush cutters.

2.) Pound the entire length of the wire flat, making markings along the way. Be sure not to turn it as you go. Round off the tips by pounding flat and filing.

3.) Wrap the ring around the ring mandrel at just under the size you are looking for, it will be a bit bigger when you take it off. Pound the ends down while in the mandrel. You may have to adjust the flat ends with your chain nose pliers so that they lay flat on the finger.
