Wire Wrapping Jewelry
S-Link Connecting Wire Link

I love to use these wire s-links in my bracelet pieces for an adjustable clasp. The also make great connectors when you're tired of just jumprings.

You'll need these supplies:

  • 20 gauge wire or thicker

You'll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose or chain nose plyers

1.) Flush cut the end of a piece of wire. Grasp the end with a pair of round nose pliers, then wrap around.

2.) Take the wrap off the top part of the pliers and place it on the bottom rung of the pliers. Wrap the top.

3.) Place the second loop on the bottom rung and finish the wrap. Trim with flush cutters and close both ends with your chain nose pliers. The openings close like you close jumprings.
