How to Make a Head Pin Out of Wire
Heart Head Pin
Advanced wire wrapped heart head pin for those who want to add a little love in their creations.
You'll need these supplies:
- 21 gauge wire
You'll need these tools:
- wire cutters; flush cutters
- Hammer
- Flat nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
- Chain or bent nose pliers
- Anvil or steel plate
- Start by making a small spiral, wrap around twice.
- Place the base of your round nose pliers at the side of the spiral and bend around three quarters of the way. there's the first side of your heart.
- Using your flat nosed pliers, bed at a 90 degree angle.(bottom of heart)
- Eye the side of the heart and make the second hump. Cross the wire under the spiral and over the other side of the heart.
- Wrap it around the top of the spiral and up. Flatten that wrap with pliers.
