Wire Wrapped Beaded Jewelry Cracklin' Beaded Heart Earrings
This simple wire wrapped earwire works well with heavier beaded earrings.
You'll need these supplies:
- 4-inches of 20 or 21 gauge wire; cut into two 2-inch pieces
You'll need these tools:
- wire cutters; flush cutters
- 1/2-inch dowel rod or sharpie marker
- Round nose pliers
- Bent nose or chain nose plyers
- hammer
- anvil or steel plate
- wire file
For each earring:
- Make a loop at the end of the wire, see picture 1.
- Bend the wire around the 1/2-inch dowel rod or sharpie marker, see picture 2.
- Finish both earwires up to this point. match them up before going further.
- Trim the end and bend it slightly out, see picture 3.
- Hammer the wire where I have the picture shaded. File the end.
