Wire Wrapped Beaded Jewelry
Cracklin' Beaded Heart Earrings
Deep red primative hearts in crackle glass - how could I resist doing something with these beautiful beads and wire? I had to do a beaded heart pendant too! Wonderful glass beads that don't bust the bank.
You'll need these supplies:
- 2 ear wires
- 2 15mm red crackle glass hearts
- 6 inches sterling silver 22 gauge wire; cut into two 3-inch pieces
You'll need these tools:
- wire cutters; flush cutters
- Round nose pliers
- Bent nose or chain nose plyers
- You need to make a head pin out of the end of one wire. Put your bead on the wire.
- Loop and wrap leaving enough room on the wire at the bottom of the bead to wrap twice.
- Bring the wire in front of the bead and loop at the bottom.
- Attach to the earwire.
- Repeat for the send earring.
Simply lovely.
