Wire Wrap Jewelry
Make an Eye Loop or Eye Pin
Loops are the basic technique of wire wrapping. You need to make loops to connect all of the things that you wrap up in your wire. These loops are called eyes, and this is how you make an eye pin.
You'll need these supplies:
- wire
You'll need these tools:
- Bent nose or chain nose plyers
- round nose pliers
- flush cutter
1.) About 1/2" from the end of the wire bend it to a 90 degree angle using your chain nose pliers.
2.) Grasp your round nose pliers at the end of the wire.
3.) Turn the round nose pliers so that the wire wraps around the pliers. You will need to bump up the loop because it will look like it is 'cocked to the side'.
4.) Enjoy!
