Beaded Necklace Instructions - Free Pattern
Two Strand Gold Tone Necklace

beaded necklace directions

Fun play with the beads floating on the two strands. Beadalon's gold tone wire is very pretty and can be used in many different ways.

You'll need these supplies:

  • 5 - 10mm amber crystal rondells
  • 6 - 6mm amber crystal rounds
  • 10 - 6mm gold metal beads
  • size 6 or 8 seed beads - e-beads; in brown tones and creme
  • 4 - goldtone crimping beads
  • 2 strands of gold tone wire
  • 1 gold tone toggle clasp

You'll need these tools:

  • Crimping plyers
  • Bent nose or chain nose plyers

1.) Cut two pieces of wire 2 inches longer than what you want your necklace to be. suggested length is 16-17 inches.

2.) Attach the wires to one end of the toggle clasp by using a crimp bead and leaving a bit of wire on the other side. Bead two ebeads over the two wires and up snug agains the crimp bead so that they hide the wire. Bead anther crimp bead and place it snug against the last ebead. Crimp ant then trim the edge.

4.) On one wire bead: one ebead, 6mm amber one crystal bead, one ebead. On the other wire bead four ebeads.

5.) On both wires bead: one 6mm gold metal bead, one 10mm amber crystal rondel, one 6mm gold metal bead.

6.) Repeat steps 4 & 5 four more times.

7.) End by repeating step 4 one time and then crimping the ends like in step 2.

3.) I love the play of the beads. Enjoy!
