Beaded Necklace Instructions
Ladybug and Flowers Bead Necklace

Thread through these beads and go back to add a few more then you have this very easy beading project. Metal ladybugs and pressed glass flower beads set the theme. Here are the matching earrings.

You'll need these supplies:

  • ebeads or size 6 seed beads; black
  • 3 pressed glass flower beads
  • 2 ladybug beads
  • 1 lobster clasp and split ring
  • 2 bead ends with 2 stop beads - I used size 11 seed beads
  • size D nymo beading thread

You'll need these tools:

  • beading needle
  • scissors

    Directions:

1.) Set your bead end by leaving a long tail, knotting the stop bead and pulling both ends through the hole.

2.) Bead: 30 ebeads, one flower bead, 15 ebeads, one ladybug, 15 ebeads, one flower bead, 15 ebeads, one ladybug, 15 ebeads, one flower bead, then 30 ebeads.

3.) Bead the bead end opened out and the stop bead. Go back through the bead end and all of the beads until you get past the first flower bead, then come out. Bead 20 ebeads, go through the ladybug bead, bead 20 ebeads, go through the next flower bead, bead 20 ebeads, go through the ladybug bead, 20 ebeads then go through the flower bead and all of the other beads knot just before the bead end.

4.) Close bead ends, trim your threads and weave them in. Add your clasp and split ring. Enjoy!
