Digital Scrapbooking with PSP9PSP9 Tutorial: Make Stripe and Plaid Paper How to make stripe and plaid paper for digital scrapbooking using Paint Shop Pro 9 PSP.
1.) New image, settings at:
Height: 200 pixels Resolution 200 dpi Raster background 16 million color depth fill with background color

2.) Choose your pen tool, using varying widths draw straight vertical lines.
![]() 3.) Select layers, merge visible. 4.) Select a small slither of the stripe, crop to selection.

5.) New image: your paper, 12X12 200 resolution, Raster Background 16 million colors, transparent.
![]() 7.) Copy and paste as a new image, save it - this is your stripe paper. Keep the working copy to make a plaid. To make the plaid paper: 1.) On the working copy: New Raster layer, Blend mode normal, Opacity 50%, check layer is visible. 2.) Click on your stripe pattern and change the angle to 90 %.
![]() 3.) Fill your image. 4.) Layers, merge visible.
