Digital Scrapbooking with Paint Shop Pro 9PSP9 Tutorial: Make a Brad
Brads are so useful in a layout. they help hold things down, join things together or just decorate things. This is made with Paint Shop Pro 9, other versions may differ slightly. Here's how:
![]() 1.) Create new image
Height: 150 pixels Resolution 200 dpi Raster background 16 million color depth fill with background color 2.) With the selection tool, using the circle setting draw a circle in the middle of the image bringing it out close to, but not at, the edge.
![]() 3.) Fill the circle with your paper or the color of your choice. 4.) Effects -> 3D Effects -> Inner Bevel settings below:
![]() 5.) Deselect brad. Wait to add the shadow when you do a layout, don't do it now. 6.) Export as a png.
