Digital Scrapbooking with Paint Shop Pro 9

PSP9 Tutorial: Make a Brad

Brads are so useful in a layout. they help hold things down, join things together or just decorate things. This is made with Paint Shop Pro 9, other versions may differ slightly. Here's how:

1.) Create new image

    Width: 150 pixels
    Height: 150 pixels
    Resolution 200 dpi
    Raster background
    16 million color depth
    fill with background color

2.) With the selection tool, using the circle setting draw a circle in the middle of the image bringing it out close to, but not at, the edge.

3.) Fill the circle with your paper or the color of your choice.

4.) Effects -> 3D Effects -> Inner Bevel settings below:

5.) Deselect brad. Wait to add the shadow when you do a layout, don't do it now.

6.) Export as a png.
