Digital Scrapbooking with Paint Shop Pro 9

PSP9 Tutorial: Make Mesh

You can use these for tags, stitch them together or anything you want - they are a fun element to use in layouts. This is made with Paint Shop Pro 9, other versions may differ slightly. Here's how:

digital scrapbook make mesh

1.) Create a new image, your choice on size.

2.) Fill with the color of the mesh you're looking to do.

3.) Effects -> Texture -> Weave with the following settings:

You can play with these and make different weaves in your mesh.

4.) Now you need to get rid of the background. The easiest way to do this without messing up the mesh is to just create a new transparent image the same size, set your background color to the background of your mesh then copy and 'paste as a transparent selection' into the new image.

5.) Use your warp brush to pinch the mesh into a realistic shape.

6.) Export as a png.
