I've moved all of the handmade card sketches(find them here). They began to start taking over this page and I didn't want that.

See all of the Valentine cards I have found on the net or have here on my site on this page.

A note about where handmade card ideas come from: just about anywhere! Handmade cards are as creative/fun/touching as the person who is making them. You'll find card ideas in artwork, magazines, picture galleries, sketches and sometimes even from cards you've already made. The things is to make the time to make the card when you have the idea, instead of trying to find an idea when you have time to make cards.

You may also want to think about the receiver of the handmade card for ideas. What does this person like to do, hobbies, interests, etc. Is the card for a special occasion? Think about the receiver's favorite colors.

Once you have a handmade card idea, go with it. See it to the end and don't quit in the middle of a card. If it doesn't turn out the way you planned, that is okay. Perhaps it will be better or usable for another time. Just don't kill your creativity by not following through with your ideas.
