I can't believe Dumbledore is dead :(

I read the book in about 24 hours and have since reread this part ten times. I am so sad that he is gone. I think he told Snape top kill him though and that Snape is still on Harry's side ~ even though Harry doesn't know it.

Going to the chapel

Actually a pond, it's an outdoor wedding for my cousin. I'm hoping the thunderstrom we had this morning isn't on the guest list.

Looked up some creative ways to wrap presents - I still need to do that today.

What's for dinner?

I think I may make Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe. I know the fat in bacon kinda out weighs the garlic benefits, but I am very hungry for this. It is one recipe that I keep the ingredients around for, very quick and easy and yummy!

Does Garlic Cure Cancer?

Some of the claims made by the the media or some group of scientists that do the 'studies' are confusing. Let's take the benefits of garlic for instance. I'm into trying to have a better diet for my health and for my family's health. So I'm looking up information on garlic. And on the Net I certainly find a lot of it. Some places just out and out claim that it cures cancer - without even going into what types of cancers it cures. Oh please! It is a shame because garlic does have some true health benefits.

Calgon Only Works in the Tub

What happens when you're having a calgon moment - you know, when the kids are ripping at each other, the phone rings & the email you're waiting for is not there yet - and you don't have the time for or the access to a bath? I mean, really. Do you have to rip your hair out? What's a girl to do?

I think I've ODed this week, swimming invitational for my 9yo- and she is in a wedding on Friday, 3yo is still wallowing in the terrible-twos and the 14yo, well, she is away playing basketball this week. Maybe I should go reread Tips to Finding Stress Relief and see what I find there ;-)

Just Testing Out the New Blog

Don't you just hate when things are brand new and you get stuck reading 'this is a test'. Reminds me of that nasty beeeeeeepppp sound when they run the emergency broadcast system test..... well, beeeeeppppppp..... I promise there will be more later.
